Tribes Digital is a fintech startup building an AI-driven digital mortgage advisor that simplifies how buyers discover, compare, and apply for home loans. Our mission is to transform the mortgage experience through automation, transparency, and personalization — empowering users to assess eligibility, compare lender offers, and complete their applications seamlessly online.

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong experience in modern web technologies to join our growing team. You’ll be working on the core product build — from front-end components to back-end APIs and database design — and will help shape the architecture of this innovative lending platform.

Role : Full Stack Developer

Location : Chandigarh / Mohali / Panchkula

Engagement : Full-time / Contract (3–6 months initial term, extendable)

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using React , Next.js , TypeScript , and FastAPI .
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using FastAPI and Starlette .
Design efficient and normalized schemas using PostgreSQL and SQLModel / SQLAlchemy .
Integrate backend logic with the AI / ML module (eligibility and probability engine).
Collaborate with UI / UX designers to implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
Work with Supabase for authentication, storage, and backend management.
Ensure code quality through automated testing, version control, and code reviews.
Participate in architecture discussions and propose performance and security improvements.

Technical Skills Required

Frontend : React, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS (or similar styling frameworks).

Backend : Python, FastAPI, Starlette, SQLModel, SQLAlchemy.

Database : PostgreSQL, Supabase (authentication, APIs, edge functions).

APIs & Integration : REST, JSON, WebSockets; experience integrating external APIs.

Dev Tools : Git, Docker, VS Code (or equivalent IDEs).

Experience in containerized environments and CI / CD workflows (GitHub Actions preferred).

Knowledge of AI / ML model integration (bonus).

Soft Skills

Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced startup environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and collaboration skills — ability to work directly with founders.

Self-driven and proactive in suggesting product or technical improvements.

Nice to Have

Experience in fintech , lending , or mortgage domains.

Familiarity with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face) for conversational assistants.

Experience deploying apps using Vercel , Render , or AWS / GCP .
