Job description : Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript-based automation frameworks, including Cypress, WebdriverIO, and Playwright.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in UI functional and automation testing, API testing, and Agile methodologies.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing robust automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality software delivery in CI / CD environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Cypress, WebdriverIO, and Playwright.
• Create and execute UI functional automation tests for web applications across different browsers and platforms.
• Develop and execute API automation using SuperTest, RestAssured, and SOAP UI.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, collaborating with developers, product owners, and QA team members to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Perform unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing.
• Utilize BDD / TDD practices with tools like Cucumber, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Work with CI / CD pipelines using Maven and Jenkins to automate build and deployment processes.
• Generate detailed test reports and dashboards to communicate testing progress and quality metrics.
• Perform SQL and database validation for backend data consistency.
• Conduct cloud application testing to ensure compatibility and performance in cloud environments.
• Optional : Contribute to mobile automation testing using Appium.
• Optional : Collaborate with UI teams working on ReactJS projects.
• Optional : Build Node.js utilities or scripts to enhance automation processes.
