Job Description / Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for the BD activities of North TN region which includes Chennai.
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends and opportunities across various sales segments, including corporates, schools, colleges & other institutions in the region. Job Description / Responsibilities
Set and achieve sales targets within each identified sales segment.
Lead and manage the sales team & Business development partners to achieve the regional target from all the sales segments.
Strategically target and guide the team to acquire new clients within diverse sales segments, negotiating terms and agreements to establish mutually beneficial partnerships.
work closely with the marketing team to develop tailored promotional materials for each sales segment in the Tamil Nadu market.
Explore and capitalize on upselling opportunities and additional revenue streams within each sales segment.
Actively participate in Marketing events and exhibitions in Tamil Nadu.
Drive business expansion by identifying and developing sales in new markets within the assigned market.
Create and maintain a comprehensive list / database of prospect clients in Tamil Nadu, utilizing CRM software for efficient management.
Maintain a well-organized pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities in Tamil Nadu across different sales segments.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development, with a strong focus on the Tamil Nadu market.
Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrated success in team management and leadership.
In-depth knowledge of various sales segments in Tamil Nadu.
Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in IT skills
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Effective communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
A team player with leadership skills
Desired profile of the candidate The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, leading teams effectively, and understanding diverse sales segments such as corporates, schools, and colleges.
