Job Title :

Brand Manager – Incubation

Location : Bangalore

About the Role

We are seeking a Brand Manager to join our Incubation vertical at Kapiva. This is a high-ownership role where you will be responsible for taking new categories from

0 → 100 Cr in 2 years . You will work at the intersection of

product development, consumer insights, P&L ownership, and go-to- market strategy , while collaborating closely with procurement, supply chain, R&D, growth, and creative teams. You will also be working with a team of in-house creative pod (copywriter, designer, video editor) to build high-performing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

  • Partner with R&D and supply chain to define product roadmaps – from concept to launch.
  • Identify levers to optimize product-market fit, profitability, and portfolio expansion.

Consumer Insights & Market Intelligence

  • Continuously mine consumer triggers, barriers, and feedback across the 1-to-N purchase journey.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and leverage insights to refine positioning and messaging.
  • Creative & Marketing Execution

  • Lead the creative supply chain – work with the in-house creative pod to generate performance assets across Meta, Google, and other funnels.
  • Develop brand narratives and drive execution across digital, marketplace, and offline channels.
  • P&L & Forecasting

  • Own category P&L including sales, pricing, discounting, margins, and bottom line.
  • Provide accurate forecasts (6–12 months) to business finance teams and track performance against targets.
  • Desired Candidate Profile

    4–6 years of experience in FMCG / Consumer Brands in

    brand management, category management, or digital growth

    roles.

    Strong understanding of

    digital-first brand building

    and

    P&L management .

    Hands-on exposure to

    performance marketing, GTM launches, and lifecycle marketing .

    Analytical mindset with comfort in working with dashboards, insights, and financials.

    Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, supply chain, growth, and creative teams.

    MBA from Tier-1 / Tier-2 institute preferred.
