Position : Safety Engineer – EHS (Residential, Civil, MEP & Interior Works)

Location : Jogeshwari, Mumbai

Reporting To : Project Manager / Client / PMC Head

Role Overview

The Safety Engineer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols at the project site.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement site-specific EHS plans and safety standards.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, inductions, and safety trainings.
  • Carry out safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor use of PPE and safe work practices.
  • Identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
  • Investigate incidents and prepare reports with corrective measures.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with labour laws and safety codes.
  • Prepare safety checklists, permits-to-work, and records.
  • Submit weekly and monthly safety reports.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree / Diploma in Engineering with additional qualification in Industrial Safety (ADIS / NEBOSH / IOSH).
  • 5–8 years of site safety management experience.
