Freelance Role : SAP PLM Consultant (Pharma / Life Sciences Domain)

Role Description

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP PLM Consultant with deep expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and configuration across pharma manufacturing , life sciences , or medical device environments. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end experience implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP PLM S / 4HANA modules , including PDM, PPM, ECM, DMS , and EHS components, along with workflow automation and CAD / document integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead PLM process design, configuration, and implementation for manufacturing / life sciences clients.
• Configure and test SAP PLM PDM / PPM modules aligned to industry standards.
• Implement EHS (Specification & Recipe Management) , Engineering Change Management (ECM) , Document Management System (DMS) , and BOM Classification System .
• Configure Engineering Records , Workflow templates , Process routes , Agent mapping , and Rule-based template / status determination .
• Implement workflow configurations in SAP Fiori / Web UI .
• Manage recipe synchronization to BOM , ECM of recipe changes , specification management , and phrase management .
• Enable change management workflows for materials, packaging, and components, including data conversion using BODS .
• Support CAD integration , DMS configuration , and PPM document handling .
• Manage item types , approvals , and role-based PPM security design .
• Collaborate with ABAP teams for FS / TS documentation and support technical build and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user and integration issues , including third-party system interfaces.
• Work with Agile SDK, PX, Events, WSX, ACS , and data management tools ( Agile Import / Export, ACP ).
• Integrate and support Seal Systems , xECM / OpenText , UI5 (Fiori) , and NWBC front-end environments.
