Senior Software Engineer

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails to join our tech team in Gurgaon.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll work on high-impact projects powering our core travel platform, contributing to the architectural vision, and building scalable backend systems that directly influence the customer experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Ruby on Rails.

Lead and contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and design decisions.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to deliver features end-to-end.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using industry best practices.

Drive engineering excellence through continuous improvements in performance, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails in a production environment.

Solid understanding of MVC architecture, PostgreSQL, Redis, and API design principles.

Experience working with AWS or similar cloud platforms.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems.

Exposure to CI / CD pipelines and agile development methodologies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
