Responsibilities

Design & Execution

  • Deliver high-quality designs for web, desktop, and mobile platforms — including app screens, icons, and supporting visuals — from initial concepts to final assets.
  • Translate requirements into user-friendly layouts, prototypes, and polished interfaces.

Brand & Aesthetics

  • Contribute to design assets that strengthen brand identity and maintain a consistent design language across products.
  • Ensure visual designs are engaging, clear, and aligned with brand guidelines.

    • User Experience & Prototyping

  • Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to define functionality and structure.
  • Participate in usability testing and incorporate feedback to refine experiences.

    • Collaboration & Feedback

  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align on goals and iterate on designs.
  • Actively participate in design critiques, team discussions, and cross-functional workshops.

    • Communication & Presentation

  • Present design ideas and concepts clearly to peers and stakeholders, balancing user needs with business requirements.
  • Document design rationale to support decision-making and alignment.

    • Design System & Guidelines

  • Apply and help evolve existing WECO design systems to ensure product consistency.
  • Contribute new components and patterns under senior guidance.

    • Usability & Accessibility

  • Follow accessibility (WCAG) and UX best practices to ensure inclusive experiences.
  • Seek feedback and guidance on accessibility improvements.

    • Process & Growth

  • Stay current on design tools, trends, and methods to improve team output.
  • Seek mentorship from senior designers and contribute ideas for process improvements.

    • Skill & Experience

  • 2–6 years of experience in UX / UI design with a portfolio demonstrating strong user-centered design work.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles.
  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not required.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to explain design choices.
  • Experience working in agile environments and managing multiple design tasks.
  • A passion for improving user experiences and attention to detail in design execution.
