About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Consultant Automation with strong expertise in cloud platforms, database migrations, and automation. This role involves working across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting to optimize database operations, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and execute migration of Oracle and SQL Server databases to AWS, Azure, and GCP (IaaS / PaaS).
  • Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, ARM templates, and CloudFormation.
  • Automate database administration tasks through scripting (Python, PowerShell).
  • Ensure database security, backup / recovery, high availability, and performance tuning in cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database and automation issues.

Mandatory Skills :

  • Strong experience in Oracle and SQL Server database administration.
  • Proven expertise in Python and PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure; GCP preferred).
  • Deep understanding of database security, backup / recovery, HA / DR, and performance optimization.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) and / or Oracle / SQL Server certifications.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Exposure to Kubernetes and containerized database solutions.
  • Familiarity with AI / ML frameworks and their application in database automation.
