About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will ensure software quality through well-planned test cases, efficient defect tracking, and automation scripts using modern tools.

Key Responsibilities :

Review requirements, design test cases, and execute test plans.
Perform manual testing - functional, regression, smoke, sanity, usability, and UI testing.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium (Java or similar).
Participate in Agile ceremonies - daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Collaborate with developers, BA, and product owners to resolve issues.
Document test results and provide QA status reports.
Continuously contribute to improving QA processes and test coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

1-3 years of hands-on experience in software testing (Manual + Automation).

Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.

Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with Java (or similar automation frameworks).

Experience with writing and executing test scripts.

Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing.

Familiarity with version control (Git) and bug tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.).

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good communication.

Good to Have :

Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured).

Knowledge of TestNG / JUnit frameworks.

Exposure to CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
