Job Description

We&aposre seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion for DevOps and system administration across VPS, AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms. As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you&aposll work closely with our experienced team to design, develop, and implement robust infrastructure solutions. Your primary focus will be on ensuring reliable system operations while gaining hands-on experience with real-world scenarios similar to DNS configuration, SSL certificate management, deployment troubleshooting, and application hosting challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Deployment

  • Implement and manage CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues including environment variable configurations, DNS routing, and SSL certificate binding
  • Manage VPS hosting environments and configure web servers (Nginx, Apache)
  • Handle domain management, DNS configuration, and SSL / TLS certificate provisioning
  • Resolve application deployment issues across different hosting platforms

Automation & Scripting

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell Script and Python
  • Manage and provision infrastructure using Terraform (building VMs, infrastructure as code)
  • Automate deployment and configuration using Ansible
  • Create monitoring and alerting solutions for system health

    • Cloud & Containerization

  • Work with Docker and containerization technologies
  • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Handle custom domain configurations and routing issues
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and load balancing

    • Problem-Solving Scenarios

    You&aposll work on real-world challenges such as :

  • Debugging why naked domains redirect to wrong endpoints
  • Configuring DNS records (A, CNAME, TXT) for proper domain routing
  • Resolving SSL certificate validation failures
  • Fixing environment variable propagation in CI / CD pipelines
  • Troubleshooting GitHub Actions deployment failures
  • Managing Azure App Service custom domain bindings

    • Requirements / Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL / Ubuntu) command line and system administration
  • Hands-on experience with VPS management and web server configuration
  • Understanding of DNS, networking fundamentals, and HTTP / HTTPS protocols
  • Experience with SSL / TLS certificates, domain validation, and security best practices
  • Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, EBS, EFS, S3, ELB, ASG, SQS, SNS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS)
  • Basic understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • Experience with DevOps tools : Git, Jenkins, CI / CD, Maven, Ansible, Docker
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code using Terraform

    • Problem-Solving Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities with systematic debugging approach
  • Experience resolving deployment and configuration issues
  • Ability to work with logs, error messages, and diagnostic tools
  • Understanding of application hosting environments and common pitfalls

    • Soft Skills

  • Proactive learning attitude and willingness to research solutions
  • Strong communication skills for documenting issues and solutions
  • Ability to work independently during CST hours
  • Patience and persistence when dealing with complex technical problems

    • Nice to Have

  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
  • Experience with AI / ML tools and technologies
  • Background in web development or application deployment
  • Experience with multiple cloud providers and migration scenarios
  • Knowledge of security scanning and vulnerability assessment tools

    • Working Arrangements

    Hours & Timezone

  • Mandatory Hours : 8 AM to 2 PM CST (7 : 30 PM to 12.30 / 1 : 00 AM IST)
  • Must be available for urgent troubleshooting during business hours
  • Occasional weekend work may be required for critical deployments
