Job Summary :

Dozco (India) Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Accountant for its manufacturing facility in Visakhapatnam. The ideal candidate will hold a managerial position and play a key role in cost analysis, cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting specific to manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee and manage all cost accounting functions within the manufacturing unit.

Prepare cost statements, product costing, and variance analysis reports.

Monitor and control manufacturing expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support management decisions.

Conduct standard costing and ensure accuracy of inventory valuation (raw materials, WIP, and finished goods).

Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to support pricing and profitability analysis.

Review and reconcile cost accounts with general ledger.

Develop and implement cost control procedures and ensure adherence to company policies.

Coordinate with production, procurement, and finance teams to maintain cost efficiency.

Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

Ensure compliance with statutory and internal audit requirements related to costing and inventory.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Finance; ICWA / CMA qualification preferred.

5 7 years of relevant experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing industry .

Strong knowledge of cost accounting standards, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.

Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / any ERP costing module .

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage a small finance team.
