Purchase Engineer

Position : - Purchase Engineer

Experience : - 5 to 7 years

Education Qualification : - BE / B.Tech- Civil / Mech.

Job Responsibilities :

• Identify, evaluate, and select vendors / suppliers for mechanical, electrical, and project-related materials (Steel, Cement, Paints, Water Treatment Chemicals, Pipes & Fittings, Valves, Flow Meters, Hardware & Factory consumables)
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with project requirements and company policies.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Coordinate with project, design, and site teams to understand technical requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services to avoid project delays.
• Maintain vendor database, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Follow up with suppliers for order acknowledgment, dispatch details, and logistics tracking.
• Prepare purchase reports, MIS, and maintain proper documentation.
• Support procurement planning, budgeting, and inventory control for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and safety standards.
