Role Overview

We are hiring a Lab Assistant to support our R&D team in the daily preparation and execution of experiments. This role is hands-on and operational perfect for someone with a background in microbiology, biotechnology, agriculture, food tech, or life sciences who wants to work in an applied sustainability startup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the R&D team in lab and pilot-scale experiments.
  • Assist in preparation, handling, and monitoring of biological materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and contamination control in the lab.
  • Document observations and provide regular updates to supervisors.
  • Contribute to the preparation of prototypes and client-ready samples.
  • Perform other lab or production-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education : Diploma / B.Sc. / ITI in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Agriculture, Life Sciences, or related fields . (Freshers welcome if willing to learn.)
  • Prior hands-on lab or farm experience is preferred (substrates, fermentation, mushroom cultivation, QC checks).
  • Comfort with manual / physical tasks (lifting bags, cleaning equipment, handling substrate).
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain discipline in sterile work.
  • Interest in sustainability, biomaterials, or biotech applications is a plus.
