Job SummaryThe Front Office Associate is responsible for delivering excellent guest service by managing check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries efficiently. The role ensures a positive first and last impression of the property while maintaining accuracy in records and billing.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome guests warmly and handle check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate guest records and update the PMS system
- Handle billing, payments, and cashiering responsibilities
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for room readiness and guest requests
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and escalate when required
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, SOPs, and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Support night audit or shift handovers when required
Required Skills & Competencies- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving ability
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with PMS systems
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Professional appearance and behavior
Qualifications- Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred
- Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years of front office experience can apply
- Knowledge of hotel operations is an added advantage
