Assistant Vice President

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified professional for a leadership role in US Accounting and Finance. This role will be responsible for managing large client engagements, leading delivery teams, ensuring end-to-end project execution, and maintaining strong client relationships. The AVP will play a strategic role in operational excellence, client satisfaction, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for US accounting and finance engagements.
• Manage and oversee US GAAP–based accounting and reporting operations.
• Handle client relationships, communication, and coordination across engagements.
• Lead, mentor, and manage 40+ team members across multiple projects.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports and accounting outputs.
• Drive operational efficiency, process improvements, and quality control.
• Act as a strategic interface between clients and internal delivery teams.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and governance frameworks.
• Support leadership in scaling operations and strengthening service delivery models.

• Strong expertise in US Accounting and US GAAP.
• Excellent client handling and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in large team management and leadership.
• Strong project management and delivery ownership mindset.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• High accountability, professionalism, and strategic thinking

Preferred Profile

• Qualified CA with extensive experience in US Accounting.
• Background in Accounting Operations, Finance Leadership, or Shared Services.
• Exposure to multi-client environments and global delivery models is an added advantage.
