Job Title : Web Content Writer – Pop Culture & Creator Economy

About the Role :

We’re looking for a creative and pop-culture-savvy Web Content Writer to join our editorial team for one of the in house brands. If you live and breathe creators, internet culture, viral trends, music, memes, movies, and everything social this is the role for you! You’ll be writing and ideating for one of India’s leading creator economy platforms, producing engaging stories that celebrate digital creators, entertainment, and internet phenomena.

Key Responsibilities :

Content Creation :

Write and publish 3–4 engaging, original articles per day for the brands website.

Cover trending topics, creators, campaigns, and cultural moments in real time.

Craft SEO-optimized content without compromising creativity or tone.

Editorial & Strategy :

Lead the content calendar and planning across website, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Develop new content IPs for our popular weekly round-up of the creator industry.

Build cornerstone features and in-depth stories through creator and industry interviews.

Campaigns & Collaborations :

Coordinate with the social media, design, and brand teams to align on campaigns.

Contribute to cross-functional projects, managing communication and live event coverage during the event.

Collaborate with creators, brands, and industry leaders for stories and partnerships.

Performance & Reporting :

Track and analyse website and social media performance metrics.

Identify insights and optimize content strategies for engagement and reach.

What You’ll Bring :

1–3 years of experience in content writing, journalism, or digital media.

A strong passion for pop culture, entertainment, creators, and internet trends.

Exceptional storytelling and grammar skills (you can tell the difference between its and it’s without Googling it 😉).

Experience writing SEO-optimized articles and repurposing content for social media.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Bonus Points :

Experience covering the creator economy or digital entertainment industry.

Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEO tools, etc.).

Prior event coverage or social media strategy experience.
