Role : Backend Software Engineer (Remote, Full-Time)

We're seeking a Backend Software Engineer with strong Python expertise to join our remote team.

You will play a central role in designing and scaling the backend infrastructure that powers our platform.

While our work leverages AI for intelligent code migration, this role is primarily focused on backend development, building robust APIs, optimizing system performance, and creating reliable, scalable services.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain backend services for our software modernization platform

Build scalable, secure APIs and backend workflows

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Python code (FastAPI or similar frameworks preferred)

Integrate with cloud services and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform

Containerize and deploy services using Docker and CI / CD pipelines

Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security

Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend developers, AI engineers, and DevOps teams

Stay up to date with emerging backend, cloud, and automation technologies

Qualifications

Strong experience with backend development in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django preferred)

Experience building and consuming RESTful

Proficiency with Docker and containerized development environments

Hands-on experience with Terraform, cloud provisioning (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and IaC principles

Solid understanding of system design, distributed systems, and software architecture

Familiarity with Git, CI / CD pipelines, and agile development workflows

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Bonus / Nice to Have :

Familiarity with AI / LLM ecosystems like Langchain, LlamaIndex, or related frameworks

Experience deploying AI models or ML pipelines into production environments

Knowledge of orchestration tools like Kubernetes (K8s)

Background in developer tools, automation platforms, or code refactoring solutions

Startup experience or comfort with fast-paced, iterative development cycles
