Profile Summary :
The Team Leader - Accounts & Finance will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting
operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The role involves supervising a team of
accountants, managing financial processes, preparing MIS reports, ensuring statutory compliance, budgeting
and supporting management in decision making through financial insights and analysis.
Key Responsibilities :
1) Accounting Operations
- Supervise daily accounting activities including accounts payable, receivable, banking, and general
ledger entries.
Ensure timely and accurate posting of all financial transactions.Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and expense vouchers.Monitor and maintain books of accounts as per company policies and accounting standards.2) Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.Assist in variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes.Provide financial insights to management for business decisions.3) Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax, and otherapplicable laws.
Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors for smooth completion of audits.Implementations of circulars / guidelines issued from time to time by various government authorities.Maintain proper documentation and support for all financial transactions.4) Team Handling
Lead, guide, and mentor the team to ensure high performance and accuracy.Allocate responsibilities and monitor team deliverables.Conduct regular reviews and training to enhance team competency.5) Process Improvement & Controls
Identify gaps in existing processes and recommend improvements.Implement internal controls to ensure accuracy and prevent fraud.Support automation and digitization initiatives in financial operations.
