Role Overview

As a Backend Developer, you will design, build, and maintain backend services with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability. You will collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver secure and efficient APIs, microservices, and data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Rust.

Design RESTful / GraphQL APIs and integrate with databases.

Optimize performance and ensure reliability of backend systems.

Implement security and data protection best practices.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design and architecture.

Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing backend services.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Rust programming language.

Experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Actix, Rocket, Axum).

Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL solutions).

Understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and API design.

Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI / CD pipelines.

Solid understanding of memory management, concurrency, and performance tuning.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS).

Knowledge of WebAssembly or blockchain-related Rust projects.
