Job description

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Sr. Developer to join our Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake cloud data platform and DBT and experience with enterprise data warehouse solutions. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

Required Experience : 6 to 12 years.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Should be very strong with SQL, DBT and Python.
  • Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Snowflake's native features and integration capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain Snowflake objects including tables, views, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
  • Create and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.
  • Implement data security and governance policies within the Snowflake environment.
  • Provide technical guidance on Snowflake best practices and architectural decisions.

Required Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
  • 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data platform and DBT must have skill.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling concepts.
  • Experience with ETL / ELT processes and data integration tools.
  • Familiarity with Python or other programming languages.

    • Good to Have :

  • Experience with SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and SAP ECC systems.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Certifications in Snowflake (SnowPro Core / Advanced).

    • Technical Skills :

  • Primary : Snowflake, SQL, ETL / ELT, Data Modeling, DBT.
  • Secondary : Python, Git, Power BI.
  • Enterprise Systems : SAP BW, SAP ECC.
  • Tools & Frameworks : Data Integration Tools, Version Control Systems.
