Our client is a leading commodity trading and logistics company.

They are committed to building and maintaining world-class IT applications and infrastructure.

The Trading IT group directly supports the trading business, and this business has started a far-reaching programme to enhance and improve its trading applications using an innovative architecture to support business growth across the full range of business lines and geographies, and to enable the sharing of systems across different businesses.

This programme is aimed at delivering functional capabilities, enhancements, and technical infrastructure upgrades to enable continued business growth and enhanced profitability for the firm.

Client is looking to hire system architect who will be responsible for technical aspects of all existing applications (reconciliation platforms like Xceptor, Intellimatch, regulatory reporting etc) .

Responsibilities

Cover technical aspects of all existing and new applications (reconciliation platforms like Xceptor, Intellimatch, regulatory reporting platform like Axiom etc)

Establish best coding practices

Go to person for any technical queries / assistance

Overall responsibility for design

Provide RCA on application production issues

Compile monthly / quarterly technical status updates

Lead the technical roadmap, working closely with product managers, business analysts, and operations teams.

Ensure seamless integration with upstream (e.g., trade capture, core

Define and enforce best practices around system design, data integrity, and reconciliation rules.

Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and data accuracy

Skills

Must have

Knowledge & Experience :

12+ years of overall experience out of which at least 5 years as system architect

Good understanding of hands-on reconciliation development experience using FIS IntelliMatch or equivalent platforms.

Good understanding of Unix server as well as database server required for capacity planning and any new application onboarding

Solid understanding of

• financial systems architecture
• , data flow, and integration patterns.

Proficiency in

Strong hands-on experience with

Familiarity with enterprise IT systems, databases, and cloud or hybrid infrastructure

In-depth business knowledge of financial instruments including OTC Derivatives.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
