Key Responsibilities :
Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end outbound warehouse operations including order processing, picking, packing, dispatch, and shipment tracking
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, client SLAs, safety protocols, and compliance standards
- Monitor workflows to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with transport and customer service teams to ensure smooth outbound dispatches
People Management
Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff including team leaders, supervisors, and associatesPlan manpower and create shift rosters based on workload and forecasted volumesConduct daily huddles, performance reviews, and staff training to boost productivity and moraleAddress employee issues, ensure discipline, and maintain a compliant work environmentClient and Stakeholder Management
Serve as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders regarding outbound operationsEnsure customer KPIs and SLAs are consistently met or exceededHandle escalations and operational challenges with agility and professionalismProvide operational updates and performance reports to clients and senior managementFinancial and P&L Responsibility
Monitor and control warehouse expenses including labor, MHE usage, and consumablesTrack performance against financial KPIs like cost per unit and dispatch accuracyIdentify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitabilityContribute to budget planning and resource optimizationQuality & Compliance Management
Enforce quality control to ensure error-free, damage-free, and timely outbound operationsConduct regular internal and external audits; implement CAPAs (Corrective & Preventive Actions)Promote and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policiesImplement continuous improvement methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, and Lean practicesQualifications & Experience :
Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations)MBA / PGDM in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus5–10 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operationsMinimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role in a 3PL setupStrong understanding of WMS, outbound operations, and inventory controlProficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and operational reportingFamiliarity with warehouse automation and MHE operationsSkills Required
