Job descriptionStreamline financial policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with university operations. Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to ensure proper fund utilization. Support decision-making by providing financial insights to senior leadership. Handle vendor management, payroll coordination, and procurement processes in compliance with policy. Advise university leadership on financial planning, resource optimization, and cost-efficiency. Contribute to long-term financial sustainability and growth planning of the institution. Provide financial support for new initiatives, infrastructure projects, and academic expansions. Qualification : Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory. Experience : Minimum 8+ years of post-qualification experience , with at least 5 years in a university or higher education institution . Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory compliances. Proficiency in ERP / financial software, Tally, and MS Office / Adv MS Excel, Core Competencies : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to align financial processes with academic and administrative requirements.

The Chartered Accountant – Finance & Administration will oversee the university’s financial management, compliance, and financial administrative processes. The role requires strong analytical skills, strategic financial planning ability, and hands-on experience in managing finance operations within a university ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Compliance
- Oversee end-to-end financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, university grants, and auditing requirements.
- Manage timely preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and MIS reports.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and statutory bodies.
