Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Lead to join our top team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for working with our virtual CFO and outsourced finance functions, and working on management accounting, board reporting, and management information systems (MIS). Your expertise in these areas will contribute to strategic decision-making, financial planning, and performance evaluation. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

1 : Management Accounting :

Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets for the organization.

Monitor and analyze financial performance, including variance analysis, to identify areas for improvement.

Provide insightful and accurate management reports to support decision-making and drive business performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

2 : Board Reporting :

Prepare comprehensive and concise financial reports for board meetings, highlighting key performance indicators, financial trends, and risks.

Coordinate with various departments to gather relevant financial information and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

Present financial information and analysis to the board of directors and other stakeholders, providing clear explanations and recommendations.

Work closely with our outsourced finance team and virtual CFO.

3 : Management Information Systems (MIS) :

Collaborate with IT teams to enhance existing financial and business reports.

Analyze and interpret financial data to generate meaningful insights and support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

Professional certification such as CA is highly desirable.

Proven experience in management accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.

Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.

Knowledge of management information systems and proficiency in using financial software and tools.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

High attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.

Willingness to take hands on approach, individual contribution is key.
