Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SDS/2 Modeler to develop accurate 3D models for structural steel projects in compliance with AISC standards. The candidate should be proficient in SDS/2 software and capable of coordinating with detailers, checkers, and project managers to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D structural steel models using SDS/2.
• Interpret IFC structural and architectural drawings.
• Ensure modeling compliance with AISC, AWS, and project specifications.
• Identify and resolve modeling clashes and design inconsistencies.
• Coordinate with detailers, checkers, and fabrication teams.
• Incorporate checker comments and client markups efficiently.
• Maintain project schedules and meet tight deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–8 years of hands-on experience in SDS/2 modeling.
• Strong knowledge of AISC steel standards and fabrication practices.
• Experience in US structural steel projects.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Good understanding of connections, BOMs, and CNC data.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with US fabricators or EPC clients.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
