Job description

Key Accountabilities :

  • Key Account Management : Establish and maintain productive business relationships with existing customers. Expand business by securing repeat orders and generating new business opportunities.
  • Customer Relationship Management : Understand and articulate customer requirements and expectations; negotiate terms and conditions that are favorable to the business.
  • Customer Satisfaction : Provide prompt resolutions to customer complaints, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Business Development : Develop new clientele and achieve the sales generation targets set by the management.
  • Sales Strategy & Target Achievement : Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed the sales targets for the year.
  • Coordination & Order Management : Coordinate with customer plants, commercial, and dispatch departments to ensure timely delivery of orders. Ensure manufacturing capacity aligns with order volumes and customer requirements.
  • MIS Reporting : Update and manage information related to dispatches, operations, and payment collections for the assigned accounts.
  • Market Intelligence : Explore market opportunities and keep track of competitor activities to identify growth areas.
  • Payment Follow-up : Ensure timely collections from customers within the stipulated credit terms and limits.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :

  • Sales Generation : Achievement of targeted sales figures and new business development.
  • Customer Satisfaction : Measured by customer feedback and complaint resolution effectiveness.
  • Dispatch Coordination : Timeliness and accuracy of order dispatches as per the customer's requirements and manufacturing capacity.
  • Payment Collection : Timely collection of payments within the agreed credit period.
  • Market Expansion : Number of new customers acquired and market opportunities explored.
  • Report Accuracy : Timeliness and completeness of reports related to dispatches, orders, and payments.
  • Customer Retention : Number of repeat orders and sustained business relationships.
