Purchase Head (Immediate Start)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchase Head located in Sriperumbudur. The Purchase Head will be responsible for overseeing the procurement processes, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely purchase of materials and services. They will also be tasked with evaluating supply options, managing budgets, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure operational efficiency. The role requires close coordination with other departments to align procurement strategies with overall company objectives.

• Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
• Experience in budget management and cost-effective purchasing strategies
• Superior analytical and organizational skills
• Proficient in inventory management and supply chain operations
• Exceptional communication and coordination abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or PG in supply chain management
• Experience in the tyre industry or any other manufacturing company is preferred
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
• Ability to work on-site in Sriperumbudur
