Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Retail Engineer (Xstore Developer) to design, develop, and implement retail solutions leveraging Oracle Xstore and modern integration technologies. This role involves working closely with business and technical teams to enhance retail point-of-sale (POS) capabilities, streamline integrations, and modernize application deployments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Oracle Xstore (v19v24).
  • Implement and enhance Java RESTful APIs for retail applications and backend integrations.
  • Develop and containerize microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Deploy and manage retail applications on AWS or Azure cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Infrastructure) to deliver high-quality retail solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing Xstore and integration components.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security compliance.
  • Contribute to CI / CD automation and DevOps best practices.

Mandatory Skills :

  • Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Xstore (Version 19 to 24 preferred; Version 23 ideal).
  • Proficiency in Java and RESTful API development.
  • Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to cloud environments AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with POS system integrations and retail domain concepts.
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

    • Good to Have :

  • Knowledge of Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, etc.).
  • Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
  • Understanding of retail transaction flows and store operations.

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
