Robotics Design Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Robotics Design Intern to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in robotics, a good understanding of mechanical fundamentals, and solid proficiency in SolidWorks for CAD modeling. You will support our senior engineers in designing robotic components, mechanisms, and production-ready parts.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in designing mechanical components and assemblies for robotics projects.

Create 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and assemblies using SolidWorks .

Support the development of new robotic mechanisms, joints, and structural elements.

Collaborate with the engineering team on rapid prototyping and design iterations.

Participate in design reviews and implement feedback for optimization.

Maintain CAD file organization, revisions, and documentation.

Basic Requirements

Basic knowledge of robotics concepts (kinematics, actuators, sensors, mechanisms).

Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (part modeling, assemblies, drawings).

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, CNC, 3D printing) is a plus.

Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
