Job description

We’re seeking a Senior Google Ads Strategist to lead our enterprise-level performance marketing operations across Shopping, PMax, and Search campaigns. This is a hands-on, data-driven role focused on profitable scale, SKU-level optimization, and advanced analytics for high SKU-count ecommerce storefronts. If you live and breathe ROAS, Merchant Center feeds, and margin modeling — this role is for you. Key Responsibilities Daily Operations Optimize Shopping, PMax, and Search performance at SKU and query level. Monitor CPC drift, impression share loss, and auction competition. Execute daily budget pacing across multiple storefronts. Identify and resolve Merchant Center disapprovals and feed errors immediately. Track competitor pricing and adjust bids or segmentation rules dynamically. Validate GA4 conversion accuracy and troubleshoot tracking anomalies. Weekly Operations Rebuild and refine Shopping campaign priority structures and custom label logic. Update PMax asset groups and resegment product inventory. Conduct negative keyword tuning and query sculpting. Audit feeds for accuracy, completeness, and attribute quality. Diagnose cross-channel cannibalization between PMax, Search, and Shopping. Deliver data-backed weekly performance insights reports. Technical Responsibilities Manage and optimize Merchant Center feeds with rule-based transformations. Design custom label systems tied to margin bands, price competitiveness, lifecycle, or velocity. Build query routing logic via campaign priorities and negatives. Segment PMax campaigns by product category, audience intent, or margin. Troubleshoot GA4 attribution inconsistencies and ensure conversion integrity. Maintain and enhance BigCommerce → GA4 → GTM data flow. Resolve structured data issues, policy flags, and feed mismatches promptly. Analytical Responsibilities Perform contribution margin and SKU-level profitability analysis. Model cost curves and forecast ROAS under varying spend levels. Identify SKU clusters that drive incremental lift or inefficiencies. Analyze auction insights, competitor bids, and impression share trends. Use regression-style reasoning to identify performance causation. Required Experience 5+ years managing large-scale Google Ads accounts for ecommerce brands. Proven success managing Shopping feeds with 1,000+ SKUs. Deep expertise in PMax segmentation and feed-only structures. Hands-on experience resolving Merchant Center errors and policy issues. Demonstrated improvement in ROAS, MER, and contribution margin at scale. Strong command of GA4, GTM, and enhanced conversions. Experience with multi-domain or multi-storefront ecosystems. Required Skills Expert in Shopping campaign architecture and Search campaign structuring. Ability to compute bids using margin, CVR, and CPC cost structures. Strong understanding of attribution models and their business implications. Proactive in diagnosing landing page conversion issues. High responsiveness, daily monitoring discipline, and analytical precision.
