About the Job We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with expertise in Selenium / Cypress to join our dynamic team. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing efficient test scripts, performing automation and manual testing, executing automated tests, and identifying and resolving any issues that arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, proficiency in Selenium / Cypress and Java / Python / C# / Javascript, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. Core Responsibilities Design and develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable automated test scripts using Selenium / Cypress and Java / Python / C# / Javascript. Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements and develop appropriate automation strategies. Conduct thorough analysis of software applications and identify areas for automation. Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability. Troubleshoot and debug test failures and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD) pipelines for automated testing. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to test automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation. Develop and maintain test data and test environments necessary for test execution. Monitor and report test results, metrics, and defects to ensure timely and accurate feedback to the development team. Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and best practices. Required Skills 2 to 6 years of proven work experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role. Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver / Cypress and Java / Python / C# / Javascript programming. In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and practices. Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools. Experience with version control systems (e.G., Git) and issue tracking systems (e.G., Jira). Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD) processes. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and tools Qualifications B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, MCA or related field. Experience with other test automation frameworks and tools (e.G., Cucumber, TestNG, TestCafe, Playwright). Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS and RESTful APIs. Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development methodologies. Knowledge of database systems and SQL. Certifications related to software testing and test automation.
