Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Consultant in Gastroenterology located in Palwal. The Consultant Gastroenterologist will be responsible for diagnosing and managing various gastrointestinal, liver-related, and pancreatic diseases. Key daily tasks include assessing patients’ medical histories, conducting diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, designing patient management plans, monitoring treatment outcomes, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care. The Consultant will also participate in hospital rounds, provide urgent care consultations, and contribute to medical education and research efforts within the organization.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Gastroenterology procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP
• Strong diagnostic and patient assessment skills
• Experience managing gastrointestinal, hepatic, and pancreatic disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations, including emergency care and trauma cases
• Commitment to continuous learning and participation in research-oriented medical practices
• Relevant medical degree and specialization in Gastroenterology from a recognized institution
• Valid medical license to practice in the respective region
