About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GIS Data Migration Specialist with strong expertise in FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) and Utility Network implementations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex GIS data migration projects, especially within the utilities sector (electric, gas, water, telecom). This role requires advanced technical proficiency, domain knowledge, and the ability to lead migration efforts across diverse GIS platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and execute GIS data migration projects with a focus on Utility Network implementations.
• Design, build, and optimize FME workspaces and workflows for geospatial data migration, transformation, and automation.
• Define and implement data migration strategies from legacy network models to modern ArcGIS Utility Network or other utility GIS platforms.
• Analyze utility datasets (electric, water, gas, telecom) to ensure accurate schema mapping and topology validation.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and client stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Maintain data integrity, quality, and performance across migration workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex migration and integration issues.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in FME, GIS data migration, and Utility Network best practices.
• Prepare documentation for workflows, processes, and project delivery.
