Role Overview
As a
Performance Marketing Specialist , you’ll drive
user growth, activation, and retention
across digital channels. You’ll own paid media strategy and execution - from Meta and Google Ads to influencer collaborations - ensuring every rupee spent converts to measurable impact.
What You’ll Do
You’ll play a core role in ensuring RXpress dark stores never run out of what customers need - from prescription medicines to wellness SKUs. This isn’t just about purchasing; it’s about building India’s smartest pharmacy supply chain from the ground up.
Own Procurement Across Dark Stores
Manage end-to-end sourcing and replenishment for Rx, OTC, and wellness categories across RXpress’s hyperlocal dark stores.
Develop and refine reorder triggers based on real-time sales velocity, expiry tracking, and store-level consumption patterns.
Maintain a live inventory availability of >
98% on top 1,000 SKUs, enabling 20-min delivery reliability.
Manage Multi-Channel Vendor Network
Build and manage
supplier relationships across pharma distributors, wholesalers, and digital B2B platforms
such as
RetailIO, Pharmarack, MedleyMed, Tata 1mg Partner, etc.
Ensure each dark store has access to a multi-vendor supply chain, with redundancy for critical SKUs and high-fill rates.
Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and service SLAs
to optimise gross margin while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Standardise vendor onboarding, GST documentation, and digital PO / invoice processes.
Leverage Tech for Procurement Automation
Integrate procurement processes with RXpress backend systems - enabling live stock visibility, auto purchase order generation, and digital GRN validation.
Collaborate with Tech and Product teams to connect B2B APIs (RetailIO, MedleyMed, etc) for real-time pricing and stock sync.
Use data dashboards to track fill rates, supplier performance, and lead times, helping reduce manual intervention and procurement delays.
Forecast Demand and Plan Inventory
Work with Operations and Data teams to predict SKU demand based on AI-driven consumption models, local health trends, and telemedicine data.
Anticipate seasonal fluctuations (e.g. cough, cold, flu seasons) and plan bulk purchases or forward stocking accordingly.
Translate insights into actionable buying plans - optimising working capital without compromising service speed.
Drive Cost Efficiency and Compliance
Benchmark pricing across multiple supply channels to identify savings opportunities and margin expansion levers.
Use AI-based SKU alternatives and generic substitution where clinically appropriate to reduce costs.
Maintain full compliance with pharmacy procurement laws, GST norms, and DLT documentation.
Ensure traceability for all purchases (batch number, expiry, manufacturer data) through RXpress’s digital compliance stack.
Support Scale & Expansion
Create procurement playbooks to support expansion from 1 → 100 dark stores.
Help set up centralized procurement hubs or regional aggregators to unlock volume discounts and better logistics coordination.
Identify and onboard vendors in new cities as RXpress scales its footprint across metros and Tier-II markets.

What We’re Looking For
2–5 years of experience in
procurement, sourcing, or supply chain
— ideally in
pharma, FMCG, or quick commerce .
Hands-on with
RetailIO, Tata 1mg Partner, MedleyMed, Pharmarack, or similar B2B medicine platforms.
Strong in vendor management, cost negotiation, and purchase planning.
Analytical, data-driven, and comfortable using tools like Excel, BI dashboards, or procurement software.
Hustle mindset
– someone who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments where speed, ownership, and adaptability are key.
Strong analytical data-first mindset - comfortable with managing procurement dashboards
Bonus : Experience with pharmacy delivery E-commerce / . Q-commerce.
