Position - Test Engineer

Experience - 3 - 5 years

Domain : BFSI, Financial service

Mandatory Skill Set

Testing Skills

Strong Manual Testing skills (Test case design, execution, and maintenance).
Experience with Automation Testing – Robot Framework , Selenium , Cucumber (basic to intermediate level).
Manual Testing 70 % and Automation – 30%
Ability to identify functional areas suitable for manual vs automation testing.

Database / Querying Skills

Strong SQL skills – ability to write and optimize complex queries for validation and data testing.

Programming Languages

Working knowledge of Java and Python for test automation scripting.

Domain Knowledge

BFSI domain experience (3–5 years) – understanding of financial services processes and systems.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills .

Communication & interpersonal skills for working closely with QA, Dev, and PM teams.

Familiarity with test reporting and providing execution status to stakeholders.

Bonus / Preferred

Exposure to automation strategy and test pack creation .

Experience in hybrid testing environments (manual + automation).
