Backend Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable backend systems.

This position involves collaborating with other teams, including front-end developers and clinical psychologists, to develop HIPAA-aware product experiences. You will also partner with our Staff ML Engineer to design, build, and operate services for conversation state, user memory, retrieval, and tool integrations.

The ideal candidate will have strong systems and API design skills, as well as hands-on experience with AI agents, RAG pipelines, and LLMs. Cloud infrastructure expertise in Google Cloud Platform is also required. Additionally, proficiency in relational + vector / search systems and real-time communication (sockets, WebRTC) is necessary.

Bonus : Experience with Swift for iOS client integration is a plus.
