Pre-Sales and Backend Support Intern. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both client-facing pre-sales activities and crucial backend operational support, specifically within the textile industry. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong interest in technology and business processes.
Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Support
- Assist the pre-sales team in preparing presentations and proposals for prospective clients, often involving textile product information.
- Conduct market research to identify potential leads and industry trends within the textile sector.
- Help create and maintain sales collateral, including textile product sheets and case studies.
- Participate in client meetings and demonstrations, showcasing textile samples, taking notes, and assisting with follow-up tasks.
- Support the pre-sales team in responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) related to textile offerings.
Backend Support
Assist with textile sampling processes, including preparing and organizing samples for client presentations.Support data entry and maintenance in CRM systems, specifically HubSpot, for textile-related client interactions and product information.Provide administrative support to the sales and operations teams, particularly concerning textile inventory and order tracking.Help with report generation and analysis to track key performance indicators for textile sales.Assist in documenting and improving internal processes and workflows for textile sampling and data management.Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Marketing, NIFT , or a related field.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to learn new software and systems quickly, including CRM platformslike HubSpot.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and contribute.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot.Basic understanding of sales processes and customer support principles.Interest or experience in the textile industry.
