This is a Contract-to-Hire position with TCS.

Email : Job Summary :

Working experience in Credit / Debit Card Systems.

Must possess experience in CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, MVS, z / OS and mainframe environment

Collaborate with business stakeholders on new requirements.

Provides technical guidance to junior developers.

Analysis of user stories and assessment of changes required in the system.

Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Retrospective)

Story points estimation and sub-task estimation.

Design program specifications aligning to COBOL / JCL coding best practices for efficient system performance

Perform Cobol / CICS program coding and testing

JIRA / ADO / Confluence updates

User Acceptance Testing support that includes test environment set-up / configuration, batch execution and responding to business queries and clarifications.

Supports project deployment activities and post implementation monitoring.

Supports production issue investigation and resolution whenever need arises.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience in Agile project delivery and DEVOPS tools.

Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks / projects.

Possess self-initiative and work with minimal supervision.

Nice to have :

API / SOLACE / JAVA knowledge / skills.

Automation skills

Knowledge in Easytrieve, REXX, SAS, ABEND AID, FileAid, Endeavour, and Expeditor would be an added advantage
