Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Advise students on study abroad options, helping them identify programs that align with their academic, professional, and personal goals.
  • Guide students through the application process, including selecting courses, completing paperwork, and meeting deadlines.
  • Assist students with visa applications, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Provide pre-departure orientation sessions, preparing students for cultural adjustment, safety, and health while abroad.
  • Stay up to date with the latest international education programs, policies, and trends.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with partner universities, agencies, and educational organizations globally.
  • Offer continuous support to students while abroad, helping to address any issues or concerns that may arise during their stay.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote study abroad programs within the institution.
  • Maintain accurate records of student applications and correspondence.

Required Qualifications :

  • A Bachelor's degree (preferably in Education, International Relations, or a related field).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a study abroad counseling or international education role.
  • Strong knowledge of international study opportunities, visa processes, and academic requirements for various countries.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with universities, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple students and deadlines.
  • Passion for helping students experience the world and succeed academically in an international environment.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience studying or living abroad.
  • Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of specific regions or countries and their academic systems.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or student databases.
