Key Responsibilities :
- Advise students on study abroad options, helping them identify programs that align with their academic, professional, and personal goals.
- Guide students through the application process, including selecting courses, completing paperwork, and meeting deadlines.
- Assist students with visa applications, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities.
- Provide pre-departure orientation sessions, preparing students for cultural adjustment, safety, and health while abroad.
- Stay up to date with the latest international education programs, policies, and trends.
- Establish and maintain relationships with partner universities, agencies, and educational organizations globally.
- Offer continuous support to students while abroad, helping to address any issues or concerns that may arise during their stay.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote study abroad programs within the institution.
- Maintain accurate records of student applications and correspondence.
Required Qualifications :
A Bachelor's degree (preferably in Education, International Relations, or a related field).Minimum of 3 years of experience in a study abroad counseling or international education role.Strong knowledge of international study opportunities, visa processes, and academic requirements for various countries.Excellent communication skills and ability to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.Proven ability to build relationships with universities, vendors, and other stakeholders.Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple students and deadlines.Passion for helping students experience the world and succeed academically in an international environment.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience studying or living abroad.Proficiency in a second language is a plus.Knowledge of specific regions or countries and their academic systems.Familiarity with CRM systems or student databases.
