Responsibilities

• Operationalize our strategy across programs, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives.
• Manage the jury and awards processes, ensuring seamless execution.
• Lead media campaigns and coordinate with partner outlets to maximize visibility.
• Organize fundraising dinners and donor events to foster relationships and secure support.
• Develop and manage a support pipeline, including fellowships, mentorships, and partnerships delivering mental health, legal aid, and publication opportunities.
• Design and oversee eligibility criteria, selection rubrics, and safeguarding protocols for journalist support.
• Create and maintain a donor and grants CRM, generating 10+ high-quality funding proposals with clear board / donor reporting dashboards.
• Negotiate and execute Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with NGOs, media, and corporate partners, ensuring clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and budget ownership.
• Track and report lightweight impact metrics, including 10 key KPIs.
• Manage compliance, accounting, and tax filings to ensure operational efficiency.
• Lead a network of volunteers and experts contributing pro bono to program design.
• Conduct analytical research to inform fundraising and stakeholder engagement strategies.
