Vehicle / Body CFD Simulation & Evaluation (15h Left)

Role : Vehicle / Body CFD Simulation & Evaluation

Responsibilities :

• Prepare full vehicle CFD models using HYPERMESH and Star CCM+ : Rigid Body Meshing (Triad meshing), Correction in UG / NX & HM, Creating Air-Leak Proof Assembly in Star CCM+ and Boundary condition settings.
• Full vehicle CFD simulation using Star CCM+. Development of Vehicle Aerodynamic drag (CdA) performance using CAE.
• Interpretation of results in Star CCM+, Comprehending the drag / turbulence zones and providing directions for countermeasures. Perform parameter studies on the CFD / FVM model for performance improvements.
• Coordination with Wind tunnel testing agency for test execution, analyzing the results, correlation of CFD results and propose improvement in CFD methodology.

Report preparation and communication with design and testing for implementation of countermeasures.
