HMI Developer –Tata Technologies

Location : Chennai, India

Education : B.Tech – Computer Science / Electronics

Experience : 8–10 Years (Automotive Cluster Background Preferred)

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced HMI Developer to handle development and testing activities of HMI in Cluster projects. The role involves working on complex embedded real-time designs, ensuring compliance with automotive standards like ASPICE and CMMI , and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality embedded software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and test HMI features for Cluster projects.

Execute design, development, integration, and testing per customer requirements.

Ensure compliance with ASPICE / CMMI standards and automotive guidelines.

Lead embedded software development efforts and manage resource / risk planning.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.

Technical Skills :

HMI Development using Qt / Qt Lite

Strong programming in QML , RTOS Concepts , Multithreading , IPC , and Kernel knowledge

Hands-on with CANoe / CANalyser / P-CAN tools

Experience with GIT , Atlassian Tool Chain (JIRA, Confluence)

Good understanding of ASPICE and CMM processes

Experience using debugging tools ( Lauter Bach, JTAG, Trace32, Parasoft, CPPTest )

Good to Have :

Working knowledge of Cluster (MCU) on Qt platform

Understanding of Design Patterns and UML Diagrams
