Job descriptionProven experience as a squash coach or former competitive squash player. Certification from a recognized squash body. Strong understanding of squash techniques, strategy, and rules. Ability to coach various age groups and skill levels. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Passionate about athlete development and sports ethics.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and conduct structured squash training sessions for beginners to advanced players.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and group training as needed.
- Develop athletes’ technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the game.
- Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare athletes for competitive tournaments at local, regional, and national levels.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during sessions.
- Maintain equipment and ensure court readiness.
- Promote squash and increase participation within the community / organization.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to deliver a holistic athletic program.
