Software Architect (Immediate Start)

The Role

We're seeking a Software Architect for Data & Platform who will define and drive the technical vision for our real-time streaming infrastructure and trading platform ecosystem. You'll architect mission-critical systems that process billions of financial events daily, designing the foundational infrastructure that powers PAMM, MAMM, Copy Trading, and Introducing Broker systems.

This is a hands-on architecture role where you'll shape the future of financial data processing at scale. You'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge streaming technologies and complex financial domain requirements, creating architectural blueprints that ensure our platform can handle exponential growth while maintaining sub-millisecond performance.

What You'll Do :

Define and evolve the architectural vision for our real-time streaming data platform

Design scalable, fault-tolerant systems for high-volume financial data ingestion and processing

Architect sophisticated trading modules (PAMM, MAMM, Copy Trading, Introducing Broker systems)

Lead technical design reviews and establish architectural standards across the platform

Drive technology selection and evaluation for next-generation data infrastructure

Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate architectural vision into implementation

Design data models, APIs, and integration patterns for multi-asset trading platforms

Establish performance benchmarks, scalability targets, and reliability standards

Mentor senior engineers on architectural principles and design patterns

Experience That Matters :

Architectural Leadership : 12+ years of progressive software engineering experience with deep focus on system architecture, distributed systems design, and large-scale platform development

SaaS Data Product Mastery : 5+ years specifically architecting SaaS data products at scale, with proven experience designing multi-tenant data platforms, real-time analytics systems, and customer-facing data APIs that serve thousands of concurrent users

Financial Systems Experience : Significant experience architecting trading platforms, market data systems, risk management infrastructure, or other mission-critical financial applications where accuracy, latency, and regulatory compliance are paramount

Streaming Architecture Expertise : Deep hands-on experience designing and implementing large-scale streaming architectures that handle high-volume, low-latency data processing with complex event correlation and state management

Cloud-Scale Impact : Proven track record of architecting systems that scale from thousands to millions of transactions, with experience in capacity planning, performance optimization, and cost-effective cloud resource utilization

Technical Excellence :

Streaming & Event Architecture : Expert-level expertise in designing event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Pulsar, and modern stream processing frameworks, with deep understanding of exactly-once semantics, complex event processing, and distributed state management

Data Architecture Mastery : Advanced expertise in designing data lakes, data meshes, real-time OLAP systems, time-series data models, and hybrid transactional / analytical processing (HTAP) architectures optimized for financial workloads

Java & High-Performance Computing : Deep proficiency in modern Java, JVM performance tuning, garbage collection optimization, and building ultra-low-latency applications that consistently achieve sub-millisecond response times

Cloud-Native Data Platforms : Extensive experience architecting on major cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) with deep knowledge of managed streaming services, serverless data processing, containerized stateful services, and cloud-native storage solutions

Distributed Systems Design : Expert understanding of distributed systems principles, including consensus algorithms, event sourcing, CQRS patterns, distributed caching strategies, and designing for eventual consistency in financial contexts

Database Architecture : Advanced knowledge of polyglot persistence patterns, database sharding strategies, time-series database optimization, and designing for both ACID compliance and high-throughput requirements

API & Integration Design : Deep expertise in designing robust API gateways, implementing complex webhook systems, managing service mesh architectures, and creating integration patterns that support thousands of concurrent connections

Event Sourcing at Scale : Deep expertise in implementing event sourcing patterns for financial systems, including snapshot strategies, event replay mechanisms, and handling billion-event streams

Security & Compliance Architecture : Strong understanding of zero-trust security models, data encryption at rest and in transit, audit logging frameworks, and designing systems that meet financial services regulatory requirements

AI-Assisted Development : Advanced experience leveraging modern AI architectural tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, Tabnine) to accelerate design documentation, code generation, and architectural decision-making while maintaining security and compliance standards
