Institutional Relationship Manager – Delhi
Objective of the Role
To manage and expand MF revenue and AUM market share with Family Offices, large corporates, and mid-sized
institutional clients in the Delhi / NCR region. The role requires a mix of relationship management, market insight, and sales
execution to deliver consistent growth across asset classes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive an increase in market share and revenue with assigned institutional investors
- Deliver superior sales outcomes in gross sales, net sales, and market share across all asset classes
- Acquire new investors and reactivate dormant relationships in the Delhi / NCR institutional segment
- Engage clients through sales tools, market updates, digital / face-to-face interactions, and build a long-term book
of assets
Share fund house views and market outlook to ensure high recall with clientsLeverage MIS, CRM systems, and external data to make sales more effectiveProvide timely feedback on competitor activity and market trends to senior leadershipBuild external market intelligence and networks to identify new business opportunitiesKnowledge & Expertise
Strong knowledge of capital markets (equity & fixed income) and financial productsIn-depth understanding of sales processes, mutual funds, and distribution dynamicsAwareness of macro-economic variables and their impact on investmentsUnderstanding of family offices and institutional client networks in the Delhi / NCR regionSkills & Attributes
Proven ability to deliver strong results across different market cycles and has strong relationship-building andtrust-building capabilities
Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to handling complex clients / dealsExperience & Qualification
3–5 years of experience in investment sales, institutional business development, or distributionMBA or equivalent degree (CFA, CWM, or CFP is an added advantage)
