Institutional Relationship Manager – Delhi

Objective of the Role

To manage and expand MF revenue and AUM market share with Family Offices, large corporates, and mid-sized

institutional clients in the Delhi / NCR region. The role requires a mix of relationship management, market insight, and sales

execution to deliver consistent growth across asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive an increase in market share and revenue with assigned institutional investors
  • Deliver superior sales outcomes in gross sales, net sales, and market share across all asset classes
  • Acquire new investors and reactivate dormant relationships in the Delhi / NCR institutional segment
  • Engage clients through sales tools, market updates, digital / face-to-face interactions, and build a long-term book

of assets

  • Share fund house views and market outlook to ensure high recall with clients
  • Leverage MIS, CRM systems, and external data to make sales more effective
  • Provide timely feedback on competitor activity and market trends to senior leadership
  • Build external market intelligence and networks to identify new business opportunities
  • Knowledge & Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of capital markets (equity & fixed income) and financial products
  • In-depth understanding of sales processes, mutual funds, and distribution dynamics
  • Awareness of macro-economic variables and their impact on investments
  • Understanding of family offices and institutional client networks in the Delhi / NCR region
  • Skills & Attributes

  • Proven ability to deliver strong results across different market cycles and has strong relationship-building and
  • trust-building capabilities

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to handling complex clients / deals
  • Experience & Qualification

  • 3–5 years of experience in investment sales, institutional business development, or distribution
  • MBA or equivalent degree (CFA, CWM, or CFP is an added advantage)
