Job description

Job Title : Sales Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to lead our business growth in the India sub-continent. This is a remote position with significant autonomy and responsibility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accelerating our growth across India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and other adjacent markets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales Strategy Development : Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the India sub-continent, identifying key industrial sectors and target companies.
  • Pipeline Building : Build a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
  • Account Management : Manage selected key accounts to maximize revenue, nurture relationships, and drive cross-selling and upselling of additional solutions.
  • Negotiation and Closure : Lead negotiations and close deals efficiently, preparing impactful proposals and leveraging internal teams' support.
  • Market Penetration : Drive market penetration and increase the Company's visibility and footprint in the region.
  • Growth Opportunities : Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within large industrial groups and their subsidiaries.
  • Regional Travel : Willingly travel regularly across the India sub-continent to engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree : A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven Track Record : A solid track record in industrial sales with long and complex sales cycles.
  • Linguistic Skills : Fluency in English and other regional languages (Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, etc.).
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset : An entrepreneurial mindset with autonomy, proactivity, ambition, and target-driven attitude.
  • Technical Skills : Strong skills in prospecting, cold outreach, negotiation, and closing, with experience in technical software sales or engineering solutions.
  • Industrial Knowledge : Knowledge of metallurgy, forging, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Innovation Passion : Passion for technology and industrial innovation.
