Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP IBP Implementations focused on demand management, aligning system capabilities with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand drivers of demand and translate them into accurate forecasts.
  • Facilitate demand planning review meetings and scenario planning exercises.
  • Leverage SAP IBP tools to improve forecasting precision and efficiency.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and statistical models to generate reliable demand forecasts.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity throughout the demand planning process.
  • Establish and promote best practices in demand planning across the organization.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Work with stakeholders to communicate forecast assumptions, risks, and variances .
  • Partner with supply planning and inventory teams to align demand with supply capabilities.
  • Design and track KPIs to evaluate forecast performance and planning effectiveness.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on forecast accuracy, gaps, and improvement initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for demand planning processes and system usage.
  • Support change management efforts during new implementations or enhancements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in demand planning , including 5+ years in SAP IBP .
  • Proven experience in leading demand planning implementations and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills , with proficiency in data modeling and statistical forecasting.
  • Solid understanding of SAP IBP modules (especially Demand Planning) and configuration.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel ; experience with data visualization tools a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with experience in stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced and matrixed environments .
  • Experience in project management and leading multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail and a data-driven decision-making mindset.
  • Understanding of supply chain concepts , S&OP processes, and inventory balancing.
  • Experience in consulting or client-facing roles is highly preferred.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in change management and training related to demand planning tools.
  • Knowledge of statistical forecasting models , machine learning integration, or AI-driven planning tools.
  • Certification in SAP IBP or Supply Chain Planning (APICS, CPIM, etc.) is a plus.
