Storage Solutions Architect

Job descriptionTroubleshooting Efforts : Leading troubleshooting efforts involving persistent volumes, storage integration, Linux systems and cluster operations will be a key part of this role. Collaboration and Solution Delivery : Collaborating with Portworx architects and Pure Storage experts to deliver optimized, secure and scalable storage solutions will be an essential aspect of the job. Technical Support and Escalations : Acting as the primary technical contact for support escalations, RFEs and performance issues will require strong communication and documentation skills, customer-facing. Operational Visibility and Documentation : Improving operational visibility using observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana and Azure Monitor, and documenting procedures, runbooks and issue resolution guides will also be crucial. Infrastructure / IT Experience : 7+ years of infrastructure / IT experience with strong Linux administration and troubleshooting. Kubernetes Clusters : Hands-on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters (on-prem or cloud). Persistent Storage : Deep understanding of persistent storage in Kubernetes (PVCs, volumes, storage classes). Cloud Experience : Any Cloud experience (Azure, AWS or GCP), particularly how Kubernetes interacts with cloud storage. OpenShift or Similar Distributions : Experience with OpenShift or similar Kubernetes distributions. Communication and Documentation : Strong communication and documentation skills, customer-facing.
