Position Overview :
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to lead capital and expansion projects, plant modifications, and mechanical maintenance programs across our API manufacturing facilities.
- This role demands a strong blend of technical expertise, project execution excellence, stakeholder management, and compliance leadership-ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full adherence to GMP and EHS standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Management & Execution :
Lead end-to-end management of new and modification projects-from concept and design to commissioning and handover.Oversee project planning, scheduling, cost control, and capitalization closure.Drive project execution within defined timelines and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Compliance & Safety Leadership :
Ensure full adherence to GMP, statutory, and safety standards for all new and ongoing projects.Design and enforce best-in-class EHS and safety practices, ensuring zero reportable incidents.Oversee closure of CAPAs, deviations, and audit observations in line with corporate and regulatory standards.Technical Coordination :
Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and vendors to ensure technical alignment and delivery quality.Review and approve designs, drawings, layouts, and specifications as per Teva standards.Support procurement by evaluating vendor capabilities and providing technical assistance for sourcing activities.Maintenance & Reliability Engineering :
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of cGMP and critical equipment, ensuring optimal uptime.Supervise mechanical breakdown rectification, job order execution, and plant reliability improvement initiatives.Manage preparation and updates of Equipment Layouts, Plant Layouts, P&IDs, and PFDs.Ensure ERP-based preventive maintenance closure and maintain a robust spare parts inventory.Budgeting & Resource Management :
Prepare project budget estimates, forecasts, and progress reports.Manage manpower and contractor resources effectively to achieve project goals.Continuously optimize costs while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance benchmarks.Qualifications & Experience :
Education : manufacturing or supply chain managementExperience : Minimum 7 years in manufacturing environments.Technical Competencies :
Strong understanding of project engineering, plant modification, and mechanical maintenance.Sound knowledge of GMP, EHS, and engineering best practices.Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, P&IDs, and plant layouts.ERP and project management software familiarity preferred.(ref : iimjobs.com)
